Emergency temporary closure of C171 Townhouse Road owing to UK Power Networks - electrical fault repairs (REF STRO13913 )

Further to previous correspondence, please note we have been advised that the closure/restriction has gone beyond the anticipated dates and is now anticipated to be in place until 16th December 2025.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to electrical fault repairs the use by vehicles (of any class) of the C171 Townhouse Road from its junction with C162 The Street for 40 metres eastwards (the "Road") in the Town of Costessey will be temporarily prohibited. Alternative route is via: Townhouse Road, Norwich Road, Dereham Road, Longwater Lane, West End. The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: UK Power Networks.
