Important roadworks information: A47 Acle Roundabout to Great Yarmouth – safety improvements

I'm writing to tell you that we'll be continuing improvement and safety work on the A47 between Acle roundabout and Pasteurs Roundabout, Great Yarmouth. This work will include resurfacing, refreshing road markings, bridge joint replacement and inspections on Breydon bridge. We will also install 4 new speed enforcement cameras as part of the statutory process for the speed limit reduction on the A47 between Acle roundabout and Great Yarmouth. We plan to complete this work by Sunday 30 November 2025. We will work between 8pm and 6am only, weather permitting.
