Despite dire weather yesterday, seven members of the newly formed Costessey Community Gardening Club defiantly dug out the raised bed by the Library in Breckland Park, cleared the bed of weeds, reset some of the desirable plants and all of the bulbs, and finally added pansies, evergreen grasses and hebe for winter. Join us for Christmas Carols at either The Costessey Centre, Longwater Lane or Queen's Hill Community Centre, Poethlyn Drive from 6pm on Wednesday 1st December. One lucky person at each venue will have the opportunity to switch on the tree lights at 6.30pm.

Those who wish to join the procession will meet at 10.15am at the Hart Public House.
Chairman Cllr Dan Burrill will carry and lay a wreath on behalf of the Town Council and the residents of Costessey.
The procession will set off at 10.25am from the Hart Public House along The Street to St Edmund's Church.
After the 2 minutes silence at 11am there will be a Church service to follow.

Message from Wonky Wheels who fixed bikes at Queen's Hills Community Centre yesterday
It went very well. We had 8 attendees bringing a total of 14 bikes! Some lovely people and great to help them fix up their bikes to start riding with family, friends or just for general health. A nice steady flow throughout the day.

The order is in for the replica recycling truck which will be situated within the fenced play area on Poethlyn Drive. The play equipment is fully inclusive and will be a popular addition for under 5s.
