Highway Tree Inspections
Norfolk County Council will shortly be carrying out inspections of roadside trees. This will not include all roads within Costessey, only select roads that current data suggest are used most frequently. The primary focus of the inspections is to identify ash trees that are in decline due to ash dieback disease (ADB) and assess whether they are now posing a risk to highway users. Greenhills Woods
Greenhills Woods accessed from The Croft & Townhouse Road will be closed on Thursday 20th & Friday 21st August during the day. The site is being prepared ready to replant 1,100 broad leaves as part of Forestry Commission Licence Conditions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and any loss of enjoyment.

VJ Day Commemoration - 15 August 11am
The Royal British Legion are asking residents of Costessey and Drayton to put photos of those who served during WWII in their windows this weekend in remembrance of their contribution, and if possible to step outside their homes at 11am on 15 August to remember them with a 2 minute silence.
