Update regarding the Beechcroft Surgery
The consultation regarding the future of the Beechcroft Surgery is now approaching its end and plans are being put in place by the PCT (NHS Norfolk and Waveney) to find a new provider to keep the surgery open.
The surgery is currently run by the Taverham Partnership and their doctors will continue providing the GP service until the end of September. The PCT will then have a new provider of GP services who will take on the surgery and continue to provide a family doctor service at Beechcroft.
Around 700 people have given their views on the options being consulted on for Beechcroft Surgery so far and around three quarters have people have said they would prefer the surgery to stay open and be run by another GP practice. The public consultation ends on May 25, 2012.
